Facebook and Instagram ban cryptocurrency and ICO ads
Facebook has updated its advertising policy as well as banned users and companies from cryptocurrency, binary options, and ICO ads.
This prohibition also covers such Facebook products as Instagram and Audience Network.
The company claims that many advertisers use such financial tools and services as digital options, cryptocurrency, and ICO to mislead users and provide scam information.
In the future, when the company administration detects a presence of any scam publication, its advertising policy will be changed.
The users are asked to report illegal ads of these financial tools and ban them.
Previously, at the beginning of January, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced his intentions to explore digital currencies and eventually introduce them in his social network.
