Belarusian university to offer education in cryptocurrency studies
A blockchain and cryptocurrency course will be introduced on the basis of Higher School of Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) starting from March 2018, press service of the university reported.
According to the lecturers, the course is intended for the retraining program. It will include four units: operations with cryptocurrencies, blockchain integration, futures contracts operations, ICO as an alternative form of IPO.
The remote course will last for a year and eight months. After successfully passing the program, students get the qualification "securities analyst".
The President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed the decree "On the Development of the Digital Economy" recently, according to the document, operations with cryptocurrencies and other blockchain-based systems are legalized.
